Julie Francois

Julie Francois is a Haitian American interdisciplinary artist and museum worker whose practice is driven by history’s connection to the present. Based in New England, she holds a BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and is currently working as the Art Bridges Fellow at the Mattatuck Museum, working to diversify museum leadership and curatorial work.

Her work has been showcased across the Northeast, and she has led community workshops at Tufts University, spoken at the Fletcher School, and served as a visiting lecturer at Quinnipiac University.

At the Mattatuck Museum, she works in the curatorial department to support Art Bridges initiatives and collaborates across the institution to enhance public accessibility and engagement.
