Explore my work as the Art Bridges Fellow at the Mattatuck Museum

As the Art Bridges Fellow at the Mattatuck Museum, I’ve work across the Curatorial, Education, and Marketing departments to deepen public engagement and expand access to art. Over the past year, I’ve contributed to every exhibition installation and deinstallation, documented exhibitions and events through high-resolution photography, and supported the digitization of the museum’s collection.  I also developed educational resources and interactive in-gallery activities, and created digital content to support the Museum’s outreach efforts.

Curatorial Projects

As part of the Curatorial Department at the Mattatuck Museum, I support a range of Art Bridges initiatives and collaborate across departments to deepen public engagement and expand accessibility in the arts. My work spans object research, label writing, and interpretive content creation, with a focus on making exhibitions more inclusive and community-responsive.

I actively contribute to educational resources by developing docent guides and self-guided materials in partnership with the Education Department, ensuring that visitors of all backgrounds can connect meaningfully with the work on view.

I've curated and led installation on a number of exhibits, see installation shots below!

Exhibition Design

I've designed promotional graphics and title imagery aligned with the visual identity of a number of exhibitions shows, contributing to both marketing efforts and on-site exhibition branding.

I design and fabricate both wall labels and accessible interpretive materials for gallery exhibitions, ensuring inclusive and engaging visitor experiences. I design exhibition related vinyl, support the visual layout, design, and spatial planning of exhibitions.

I collaborate with Marketing and conceptualize, script, film, and edit social media reels and digital content to expand audience engagement and enhance storytelling beyond the gallery walls.

Regularly, I develop in-gallery activities designed for younger audiences, encouraging intergenerational learning and hands-on exploration within exhibitions.

Collections Management

I have played an integral role in the documentation and digitization of the Mattatuck Museum’s permanent collection, photographing and cataloging over 800 previously unrecorded objects and uploading them to the museum’s public-facing database. My collections work also includes digitizing archival materials such as VHS tapes and assisting with the cataloging of historical documents.

In addition to backend collections care, I have supported the conditioning, unpacking, and installation of 2D, 3D, and traveling artworks for exhibitions, permanent collection rotations, and non-gallery space displays.

I provide high-resolution photography for both internal use and external partners, contributing images for exhibition catalogs, press coverage, social media, and marketing materials.

I also respond to public inquiries about objects from both the art and history collections, helping connect audiences to the museum’s holdings.
